An Approx. 10,000 Square Meter Commercial & Office building with innovative space planning for the New Business Culture. The Concept Designs were done by the Netherlands based World-Renowned Architectural Firm MVRDV, and the Design Development was taken up under ACS Integrated (Pvt) Ltd as their local collaborating architects. The project features a ‘Verandah Offices’ concept, excess parking which is lacking in other office buildings in Colombo on 2 upper parking levels accessed through 2 vehicle lifts, and a sculpture garden rooftop

Concept Designed by one of the greatest Architectural practices of the decade in the World, MVRDV of Netherlands, M2M Veranda offices was designed to embody the client’s wish in changing the corporate culture and attitudes and breaking the traditional hierarchical office concepts.

Appointed as the Design Development partner to MVRDV for this Iconic project, ACS Integrated undertook the development of the schematic of this building of complex beauty, detailing out each an aspect of the design including the complex weave patterned façade and the unique façade lighting system along with the rest of the Grade A office complex in close collaboration with MVRDV.

ACS Integrated was entrusted with the independent design of the Rooftop Sculpture Garden, which showcases 4 Sculptures by Artists around the World, 2 more sculptures are placed at Ground Level, a landscape designed by PWA.

The project has already impacted the entire neighborhood in its innovative approach and 
upscaling of the street front, and reached its completion in February 2020 with 2 Embassies already reserving floor space.

This prominent project was launched by East West Properties Ltd. under their subsidiary Weligama Hotel Properties (Pvt) Ltd, as the first footprint in Sri Lanka by the esteemed Marriott Chain, considered World’s No 1 Hotel chain.

The Architectural Concept Designs for the hotel were carried out by European Architects Studio 906 based in Thailand. ACS Integrated was appointed at the time of construction for the development of the design and to guide it to completion in close collaboration with the Singapore based Interior Designers Wilson Associates, and the Landscape Designers Belt Collins.

Completed in 2017, the Hotel remains a landmark and a great profit maker, fully booked during
seasons. The project can be considered the first step towards carrying high-end tourism further
down South from Galle.

Due to the great rapport between DP Architects of Singapore and ACS Integrated, stemming from Nandike’s local consultancy involvement at Shangri La- Colombo, The Melchers Group SG was advised by DPASG to contact ACS Integrated to be the Architects for their glamourous investment in Sri Lanka.

In a section of land adjoining Water’s Edge, a 40m high Ferris wheel, a vibrant Water Park and a snow Room was to be designed in a lively amusement park.

Since the Client required a single point design and coordination, ACSI offered a consortium consultancy service with Edifice Consultants and Haritha Consultants on the engineering scope with ACSI design managing.

The Park was Designed, Value Engineered, and optimized and is now ready for tendering and construction.

Scope of Involvement: Architects, Interior Designers & Quantity Surveyors (Partial Services) Nagananda International Institute for Buddhist Studies (NIIBS) was a project initiated by Ven. Dr. Bodagama Chandima Thero, within the land, adjoining the Manelwatte Temple in Kelaniya, with Donor funding from China and Taiwan. The project is a concept design by the Buddhist monk & architect Ven Wong, and was taken up for schematic and design development up to construction by ACS Integrated, under a Design & Build Contract by China Harbour Engineering Company (CHEC). After CHEC withdrew from the project by mutual consent in 2016, ACS Integrated continued as the architects on the invitation of the owners. The project now functions with all classrooms and the auditorium building completed, and accommodation buildings nearing completion.

As the Architects for the Slave Island Re-Development Project Stage II, which is part of the strategic Public-Private Partnership projects initiated by the Government in 2012, ACS Integrated worked closely with the Developer and the Urban Development Authority to reallocate the land area, and to relocate both the railway quarters and the low-income residents in 2 phases:

Railway Quarters - The land owned by the Railway Department behind Slave Island Railway Station, was consolidated, and GM’s and other managers’ quarters were built in a 6 story building with ample space and facilities. A further 8 story building was built for other staff with 32 units. This is completed and handed over to the Railway Department.

Community Relocation - the low-income community is to be relocated to the rest of the consolidated railway land where a 12 story building was designed in far better residential units than they lived in, and uplifting their lifestyle. 150 units were accommodated, and they are of far better planning than other projects of similar nature with balconies, full French windows, etc., which is much appreciated by the community as well.

Destiny Towers & Mall is a mixed development containing residential apartments and retail shops on the podium. It is strategically located in the heart of the commercial capital in close proximity to prominent developments such as Cinnamon Life, ITC, and Shangri La. The First Phase of the project, Destiny 1 was completely reimagined and redesigned by ACS Integrated and stands taller than its immediate high-rise neighbor at 42 Floors. The project is currently estimated to be completed in July 2020.
